Opening a Web Page
Type the URL is the location field and press enter (return).
- URLs are case sensitive. It is important to make sure special characters and upper and lower case letters are typed in correctly. And, regardless of how it appears in print, do NOT type a period at the end of the URL.
Netscape Tip: Most URL’s begin with http:// but you don’t need to type that part of the
address. Navigator will automatically add it.
Location Bar: Displays the address (URL) of the page you are viewing. Every page on the web has its own unique URL which identifies its location on the Internet.
